Lela F. HARRISON

Lela F. HARRISON, 89, a resident of Parkview Care Center died at 10:43 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 1998, at the care center.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is open until 6 tonight at Raymond Funeral Home with family present from 4 to 5 p.m. Memorials can be made to First Christian Church.

Mrs. HARRISON was born Oct. 7, 1908, in Davis County, the daughter of J. Wilson and Dora McCLEARY FITE. She lived in Davis and Jefferson counties, graduating from Fairfield High School in 1927. She married Guy M. HARRISON on April 28, 1928, at Batavia. He died May 18, 1990. She was a member of First Christian Church and had worked at Fairfield Glove Company for 27 years.

Survivors include one son, Donald Lee of Fairfield; one daughter, Darlene Frances COYLE of Sauk City, Wis.; one granddaughter; two great-grandsons; three sisters, Wilma CREEK of Batavia, Lorene GOODWIN of Floris and Neva TEETER of Agency; and one brother, Russell FITE of Batavia. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
