Atticus Bryce BURNS

Atticus Bryce BURNS, infant son of Shana and Jared BURNS, passed away on February 15, 2011 at Blank Children's Hospital of Necrotizing Enterocolitis. Atticus was born on January 16, 2011.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, 4126 Ingersoll in Des Moines.

Atticus is survived by his parents; grandparents, Lani GLASS of Richland, IA, Stephen BURNS of Tulsa, OK, Sondra CARTER and Richard FREE of Johnston, IA and Bruce ANDERSON of Ladysmith, WI; great-grandparents, Marilyn GLASS of Fairfield, IA, Thelma LOVELY of Ladysmith, WI, Lorraine PALEWICZ of Glenwood City, WI; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family at 2904 Boulder Drive, West Des Moines, IA 50265, and will be directed to Blank Children's Hospital in honor of Atticus. Online condolences may be made at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.
