"Miss Sarah Jones, an old resident of Pleasant Plain, died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Henry Williams, at Pleasant Plain last evening. Born in Jefferson County. For a number of years she was postmistress at Pleasant Plain. Last survivor of a large family. Aunt of Mrs. Abi Ellis, Calvin Hoskins, Nat Hoskins, and Charles Jones of this city. Interment in Friends Cemetery."
