MRS. WILSON DIES TODAY

Services to be held at Hoskins Funeral Home Sunday, 2 p.m.

Mrs. J. WILSON, life-long resident of Jefferson county, passed away at 8:30 o’clock this morning at her home six miles northwest of the city, following a stroke four hours earlier. Mrs. WILSON suffered her first stroke on December 6, from which she never completely recovered.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, at the Hoskins Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Velma J. WILSON was born Aug. 12, 1869. She was united in marriage on January 17, 1889, to J. W. WILSON, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Mrs. Charles JUNKIN and Glen WILSON, both of Fairfield. Two other children preceded her in death, a son Owen in 1918, and a daughter, Mrs. Tola HAGAN in August, 1934. Mrs. WILSON leaves five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, one brother Virgil CHADDUCK of Crescent, Okla., and one sister, Mrs. Ida LEATHERS of Ft. Cobb, Okla.
