Services from Campbell’s Funeral Home Tomorrow, 4 p.m.Miss Donah BRIER, 68, died last evening at 6:445 o’clock (sic) at the home of her niece, Mrs. Glen WILSON, 504 North C street. She had been in poor health for the past year and bedfast since March. She formerly resided on West Washinton (sic) street but for the past several months has made her home with her niece.
The body was taken to the Campbell funeral home where services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock in charge of Dr. U. S. Smith of the First Methodist church. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by the one niece and a number of distant relatives. She is well known in Fairfield having lived here for a number of years.

DONAH MARTHA BRIER
Donah Martha BRIER was the daughter of William and Priscilla BRIER and was born in Clark Co. Missouri Feb. 1, 1863 and departed this life at the age of 68 yrs, and 4 mo.
She came to Iowa with her parents while still a small child and has made her home in the state her intire (sic) lifetime with the exception of two or three years spent in Main (sic) and South Dak. The last few years she having made her home on 805 W. Washington St.
Miss BRIER was a very quiet and un-assuming nature, a kind neighbor and friend who was loved and respected by all who knew her.
On account of failing health she has made her home this year with her niece Mrs. Glenn WILSON 504 N. C. St. who has so loving cared for her untill (sic) the end.
She leaves to mourn her death her niece Mrs. Glenn WILSON and three children and a member of distant relatives (sic). She was preceded in death by her parents and the following brothers and sisters: Mary E. ADREW, Frank, Abbie Bel, Cinderella, John and an infant sister.
Besides her relatives she leaves to mourn a host of friends.
Funeral services were held from the Campbell Funeral Home Thurs. July 2nd at 4 P.M. with interment in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetry (sic).
Dr. U. S. Smith spoke very comforting words and Miss Cora Ball touchingly sang "Shall we gather at the River," and "God Will Take Care of You." Miss Ball was accompanied on the piano by Mrs. A. K. Harper.
Acting pallbearers who tenderly laid the body to rest were Joe Hickenbottom, B. F. Meredith, Fred Alderich and J. F. Pentzel.
