PAUL L. BRENT DIED TODAY
Passed away at Jefferson county hospital of pneumonia

Paul L. BRENT, route 4 Fairfield, aged 66 (sic - 64), passed away at the Jefferson county hospital this afternoon, March 3, about 1:30 o’clock. He had been ill at his home west of Fairfield for the past two weeks suffering from pneumonia and heart trouble and was brought to the hospital on Monday.

He was a farm laborer employed by Raymond Cook and previous to this time had been employed by John Stever for many years. He was never married. He leaves a number of brothers and sisters who live away from Fairfield. The body was taken to the Murray Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.

PAUL BRENT SERVICES ARE TOMORROW
Funeral services to be at 2 p.m., Murray Funeral Home

Funeral services for Paul BRENT who passed away yesterday afternoon at the Jefferson county hospital of pneumonia and heart trouble will be held tomorrow afternoon, Sunday, March 5, at 2:00 o'clock at the Murray Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. BRENT's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry BRENT of Rock Island arrived in Fairfield last night.
