HEISEL RITES

Funeral services were in Grinnell, Iowa, from the Smith Funeral Home for Mrs. Ingaba HEISEL, who died at her home there Tuesday as a result of a fall, with interment in Hazelwod cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Charles R. Rowe.

Mrs. HEISEL was born in Fairfield, Iowa, on September 1, 1873, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dunkard DAVISSON. She attended an academy at Pleasant Plain Ia., and college at LeGrand, after which she taught for a number of years in the Jefferson county schools, before being married on February 26, 1899 to J. B. HEISEL of Glasgow.

Shortly after their marriage the young couple moved to Poweshiek county and began to farm near Grinnell, remaining there until 1920 when the family moved to Grinnell, where she lived until her death. Through all these years, moreover, she was an earnest and active member of the Methodist church and of the W. C. T. U. but was always most deeply interested in maintaining a pleasant home for her husband and son.

On Tuesday morning during the absence of her husband, Mrs. HEISEL prepared to do an errand in the cellar, and in some manner fell, striking her head on the stairs, and sustaining skull fractures from which she died immediately. Her body was discovered by her husband when he returned home at noon.

She is survived by her husband, J. B. HEISEL, a son, Jay HEISEL of Des Moines and two grand children.

Amont those attending the services from a distance in addition to her immediate relatives were Mrs. Burt DICKERSON and Lloyd DICKERSON Mrs. John KELLER and family, and Mrs. Edgar SNOOK and family of Fairfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Guy DAVISSON of Libertyville.
