Funeral For Samuel KING

Samuel KING, 74, Atalissa, died Sunday morning at University Hospital in Iowa City. He was injured in a auto accident in Iowa City Thursday morning and was taken to University Hospital where he never regained consciousness.

The service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m., at the Catholic Church in West Liberty. Interment will be about 2 p.m., at St. Joseph Cemetery at East Pleasan Plain (sic. in Jefferson county, Iowa).

KING was born on a farm southeast of Fairfield on March 15, 1903, the son of Samuel and Millie KELLER KING. He was reared in this community and graduated from Fairfield High School.

He is (sic. not) survived by his wife, Florence (sic. she died in 1960), (sic. but is survived by...) and three children, Mary, Harold and Robert. He is also survived by a brother, Raymond of Florida and a brother, Edward of Kansas City, and relativee (sic) in this area.
