Charles B. DAMM, Former Resident, Dies in Ottumwa

Charles Bernard DAMM, 45, former Fairfield resident, died at 9 p.m. last evening at his home, 311 East Fourth Street, in Ottumwa.

Mr. DAMM was born at Glendale on Sept. 28, 1895. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael DAMM, who passed away in January, 1926, and a brother Eddie Rudolph, who died in May, 1893.

He is survived by three children, Audrey Winona, Charles Bernard and James Richard; his wife, Mrs. Mary DAMM, all of Ottumwa and a sister, Mrs. W. T. GREENE of Glendale.

Mr. DAMM went to California in February, 1938 and remained there until November of the same year. At that time he returned to the home of his sister but a short time ago went to live in Ottumwa.

Mr. DAMM was brought to the Murray Funeral Home in Fairfield last evening and this morning taken to his sister's home in Glendale. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
