Anthony Michael 'Pete' CRAIG

Anthony Michael "Pete" CRAIG, 60, of Mount Pleasant, was discovered Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, to have died sometime last week at his residence.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kimzey Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, with Sister Ann Marie Dunn officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Forest Home Cemetery, Mount Pleasant.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the family present from 1-2 p.m.

Mr. CRAIG was born Dec. 2, 1950, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Gordon and Marie NIECE CRAIG.

Mr. CRAIG graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. He was the janitor for the former Harlan House Hotel, Jerry's Pizza at its former downtown Mount Pleasant location and Westside Tap.

Mr. CRAIG had been a member of the Moose Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Although Mr. CRAIG enjoyed sports of all kinds, he was especially a fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include three brothers, Damien CRAIG of Fairfield, Mark CRAIG of Kenosha, Wis., and James Paul CRAIG of North Park, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Lawrence, David, Stewart and Danny CRAIG; and five sisters, Karen COTTER, Pauline GROSS, Roseann CRAIG, Rosalee FULLER and Tina CRAIG.
