Page 6J. Walter OGLE Dies Suddenly
J. Walter OGLE, retired shoe cobbler, and 50-year resident of Fairfield, was found dead about 4 p.m. Friday at his home, 303 E. Hempstead. Reports said he died of natural causes.
The funeral service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. David Funk in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetary.
J. Walter OGLE, 83, was born Dec. 20, 1879, in Knoxville, Iowa, the son of James Olney and Amanda TEAL OGLE. He was reared and educated in the Knoxville and Attica communities.
ON June 18, 1902, he was married to Mary Edith AXLINE at Attica. They moved to Fairfield 50 years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran church, a member of the Masonic lodge and was a shoe repairman until his retirement.
OGLE has no living relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife who died Jan. 31, 1949; his parents, two sisters and a brother.
