Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Walter OGLE, wife of a Fairfield businessman, who passed away, yesterday at the University hospital in Iowa City.
The services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Dr. E.A. Piper in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. OGLE's death came following a long illness. She had been in failing health for several years, and seriously ill for the past, three months. The patient entered the University hospital on January 5.
Mary Edith OGLE, 67, was born August 10, 1881, at Attica, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late William H. and Valeira (sic. Valeria) HUNTZINGER AXLINE.
She was united in marriage June 18, 1902, to J. Walter OGLE. The family home is at 303 East Hempstead street. Mrs. OGLE was a charter member of the P.E.O. chapter at Red Oak and later transferred to the chapter here; was also a member of the Daughters of Veterans, and of the English Lutheran church.
She is survived by her husband. Her parents and one sister preceded her in death.
