Keith PROENNEKE of Stockport died this morning, Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at his son's home in Ottumwa.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Keith Glen PROENNEKE

Keith Glen PROENNEKE, 69, of Stockport, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at his son's home in Ottumwa.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jeremy Skinner officiating. Cremation will follow, with private burial at a later date in Donnell Cemetery, south of Donnellson.

Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the family present from 5:30-7 p.m. and Masonic rites by Ancient Free & Accepted Masons Workman Lodge at 7 p.m.

Memorials to Hospice of Wapello/Davis Counties may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 963 N. Elm St., Ottumwa 52501.

Mr. PROENNEKE was born July 4, 1941, in Stockport, the son of Hilton J. and Magdalena SCHLICHER PROENNEKE. He married Karen Jean BROWN. They divorced. He later marryed Cheryl Sue PEEK, and they divorced.

Mr. PROENNEKE graduated from Stockport High School in 1960. He worked at Stockport Oil Co. and B&B Propane in Houghton.

Mr. PROENNEKE was a member of Stockport United Methodist Church and Ancient Free & Accepted Masons Workman Lodge No. 634. He had been involved in the Stockport Fire Department and Stockport Lions Club.

Survivors include six children, Jon PROENNEKE and wife Tammy of Ottumwa, Joel PROENNEKE and wife Jeannette of LeClaire, Jina SCHNEIDER of Lewiston, Idaho, Mindy WENDT and husband Ken of Anamosa, Andrea MALCOM and husband Andy of Maquoketa and Dan PEEK of Stockport; seven grancdhildren; and one brother, Dennis PROENNEKE of Colorado Springs, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister, Donna PROENNEKE.
