Timothy 'Tim' Joe EDWARDS

Timothy "Tim" Joe EDWARDS, 47, of Mount Pleasant, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at the Henry County Health Center emergency room in Mount Pleasant.

A funeral was held this morning at First United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Herb Shafer officiating. Burial was in Spencer Cemetery, near Stockport.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mr. EDWARDS' family.

Mr. EDWARDS was born Nov. 13, 1963, the son of Maynard Joe and Carolyn Jean HARRISON EDWARDS.

Mr. EDWARDS was a 1982 graduate of Van Buren High School. He earned an associate's degree in agricultural business from Southeastern Community College. Following graduation, he went to work at the Mount Union/Winfield Prairie Ag Co-op and served as general manager.

Mr. EDWARDS enjoyed spending time with family, farming, cooking, boating and snowmobiling.

Survivors include his significant other, Becky ANDREW of Mount Pleasant; two sons, Cameron EDWARDS of Mount Pleasant and Justin EDWARDS of Mediapolis; one daughter, Jenna EDWARDS of Mediapolis; his parents of Stockport; and two sisters, Terri HAUB of Moulton and Tina LYON of Reinbeck.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
