Richard Carl DAVIS, 66, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at home.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hillsboro Christian Church, with the Rev. Dave Callan officiating. Interment will be in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Visitation began at 3 p.m. today at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, where the family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

Mr. DAVIS was born Oct. 31, 1944, in Kirksville, Mo., the son of Carl Andrew and Goldie BARBEE DAVIS. He married Treeanon "Treats" REINIER Nov. 26, 1964, in Hillsboro.
Mr. DAVIS spent his formative years in Keosauqua and was a 1964 graduate of Van Buren High School. At the age of 20, he moved to Hillsboro. He was a resident treatment worker at the Mental Health Institute in Mount Pleasant for 20 years.
Mr. DAVIS was a member of Hillsboro Christian Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing cards, traveling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; twin daughters, Teresa DAVIS of Hillsboro and Lisa SWANSON and husband David of Olds; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Donna BROWN of Keosauqua and Betty LEAFGREEN of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Art, Albert, Russell and Charles DAVIS; and one sister, Charldene JAKUBOWSKI.
