Cora TRENT

ELDON.--Cora Belle TRENT, 85, died at Ottumwa hospital at 9:15 p.m. Friday. She had suffered a stroke Monday morning.

She was born April 14, 1874, at Abingdon, the daughter of Dave and Fanny SMITH CALDWELL and had lived in Abingdon and Batavia until moving to Oklahoma City in 1926. She had lived in Eldon since 1955.

She was married to John TRENT, April 15, 1895. He died in 1946. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors lodge for more than 50 years, and also a member of the Christian church in Oklahoma City.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harold WILSON of Eldon, Mrs. G. A. EVANS of Clarion and Mrs. Lyle BRADSHAW of Oklahoma City; two sons, Judd TRENT of Los Angeles and Arnold TRENT of Eldon; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Rex WILSON of Packwood. She was preceded in death by two children and two brothers.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Campbell funeral home here conducted by the Rev. Earl Manning of the Eldon Christian church. Burial will be in Batavia cemetery.
