Mrs. Charles KING

Mrs. Mae Opal KING, 74, of 811 Jay, died Wednesday at 7:50 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital where she had been a patient several days following a heart attack.

She was the daughter of John and Mary MOSS and was born in Jefferson County May 22, 1892. She was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Fifth and Washington streets.

Surviving are one son, Leverett McCOY of Des Moines; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, John MOSS of Bloomfield and one sister, Mrs. Maude SWAFFORD of Denver.

Her husband, Charles KING, preceded her in death in 1965.

The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Christian Missionary Alliance Church with the Rev. Fred McGarvey, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery.

The casket will be taken from the Traul Funeral Home to the church vestibule Saturday at 10 a.m. and will be closed at the beginning of the service.
