BOWER, Audrey Margaret -- Audrey Margaret BOWER, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Fairfield First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating.

Family visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Glasgow Cemetery, Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary or Fairfield First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. BOWER was born Nov. 3, 1920, the daughter of Floyd and Flossie MARSHAL BAITY in St. Louis, Mo. She married H. Wayne BOWER March 5, 1944, at the Jefferson County Courthouse. He died Nov. 23, 2002.

Mrs. BOWER was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County and the Glasgow area. She was a homemaker and farm wife.

Mrs. BOWER was affiliated with Frist United Methodist Church. She also was a 50-year charter member of the Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include three children: Ben BOWER and wife Judith of Mount Pleasant, Tim BOWER and wife Karen of Muscatine and Melissa OLSON and husband Jeff of Urbandale; and six grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
