MRS. CLARA B. HARPER

Mrs. Clara Bell HARPER, who was born May 27, 1864, died yesterday at her home, 800 W. Hempstead St., at 7:30 p.m. She had been ill for seven months, and had been a resident of Fairfield for 46 years.

Her husband, Elie E. HARPER (sic. Eli E. HARPER) died Feb. 2, 1919. She is survived by two daughters Kate at home, and Mrs. Mary BIDDLE of Fairfield, and one son J. R. HARPER of Leads. Dale BOWERMASTER, a grandson, also survives, as does one brother, A. F. BARNETT (sic. Francis Arthur BARNETT) of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Grace L. July 19, 1915, and one sister, Mrs. Alice DORNELL (sic. DARNELL), of Ames, in December 1933.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at th eHoskins funeral home in charge of Rev. W. J. Bell. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
