Editors Ledger:--Andrew Thompson WINSELL was born in Madison county, Ind., Aug. 20th, 1832, and died at his home January 31st, aged sixty-nine years, five months and eleven days. He was a son of Adam and Sarah WINSELL. He came with his parents to Iowa in 1837, and had lived at the present homestead a little over sixty-four years, except the time he served in the Rebellion, in Company H, Thirtieth Iowa infantry. He was a member of the G. A. R. Post at Libertyville. Mr. WINSELL leaves to mourn his death a loving wife [note: she was Mary COOMBS], four sons and two daughters, also two brothers. He was a loving husband, a kind father and a member of the Protestant Methodist church for neary (sic) twenty-five years, but not at the time of his death. He died trusting in Jesus and said all was well between him and his God.
