DIED.

Editors Ledger:--Mary Jane TOLER was born in Shelby county, Ind., August 6, 1835, and died at her home five miles southwest of Libertyville, February 9, 1887, aged 51 years, 6 months, 3 days. March 10, 1855, she was united in marriage to John W. COPELAND. She came with her family to Iowa in the spring of 1865, settling in Jefferson county, upon the farm which has ever since been her home. In early life she united with the M.E. church, since which she had endeavored to follow Christ. The terrors of death were taken away, she leaving behind the testimony that "all was well." She had been an invalid for years. She leaves a husband and six children, four having preceded her to the other world. She was buried at the Winsell cemetery, Feb. 11th. The funeral services were held at the house, conducted by Rev. H. C. Miller. Text, Rev., 21-4.
