An Aged Woman Gone.

Mrs. Esther OSBORN CAVINESS, wife of the late Kirby CAVINESS, died at her home in Pleasant Plain last week in the seventy-first year of her age. Mrs. CAVINESS was born in North Carolina, and removed with her parents to Indiana in 1833. In 1836 she was married to Mr. CAVINESS and in 1848 they came to Iowa, a year later to this county. For many years they lived on a farm in Buchanan township, five miles east of this city. Eleven children were born to these good people, all but one of whom are now living, four in this county. Mrs. CAVINESS was a most excellent christian woman. By birth she was a member of the Society of Friends, but in later years she was a believer of the Adventist faith.
