Harriet COLESON dies at 92

Harriet A. COLESON, 92, a resident of Nelson Nursing Home for the last nine years, died there at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 1989.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Friends may call as they desire at Raymond Funeral Home starting at noon Saturday. Memorials have been established to First United Methodist Church and the Activity Fund at Nelson Nursing Home.

Miss COLESON was born March 20, 1896, at Varna, Ill., the daughter of August and Anna LINDGREN COLESON. She was the last of a family of 11 brothers and sisters. She lived most of her life in the Fairfield community, where she worked as a clerk at COLESON Bakery and also at Mary Harris' Sandwich Shop. She lived for awhile in Elgin, Ill., and worked at the Elgin Watch Company before returning to Fairfield. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
