John Hervey COFFIN, well known Jefferson County farmer, died Tues. at Jefferson County Hospital. Bur. Evergreen. Born June 18 1882 in Jefferson County, son of the late Henry and Avis SMITH COFFIN. Spent entire life in Jefferson County; married Mar. 7 1906 Ivy Myrtle WATERS who died Oct 23 1939. Member Pleasant Grove Church. Survived by following children: Raymond, Washington, Iowa; John C., Willard and Lester, all of Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Mary BOUGHNER, Fairfield; Mrs. Pearl WAUGH, Selma; and Kenneth, Fairfield. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren, one brother, Everett COFFIN, Fairfield; and two sisters, Mrs. Glen ELMORE, Fairfield, and Mrs. Henry ARNDT, Emporia, Kansas. Preceded in death by his wife, parents, one son, one daughter, two brothers and a sister.
