Leo BARBER

Leo BARBER, 86, of Keosauqua, died today, Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

No service is planned at this time.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society and sent to Crystal BARBER, P.O. Box 176, Keosauqua 52565.

Behner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. BARBER was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Fairfield, the son Robert and Eva REED BARBER (sic). He married Crystal CRAWFORD Dec. 4, 1965, in Moline, Ill.

Mr. BARBER worked as a glazier for Galesburg Glass Co. in Galesburg, Ill., for 40 years. He was a member of Union Local No. 581 in Rock Island, Ill.

Mr. BARBER served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Robert BARBER; and five sisters, Ilah THOMAS, Shirley BRADLEY, Beverly WINTERS and Evelyn and Zeldra (sic - Zerrelda) BARBER.
