MILLER, Duane E. Jr. -- Duane E. MILLER Jr., 47, of rural Keosauqua died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, in the Van Buren County Hospital emergency room in Keosauqua from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident near his home on Peach Avenue.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. The body has been cremated.

Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 19306 Peach Ave., Keosauqua 52565.

Mr. MILLER was born June 20, 1963, in Burlington, the son of Duane E. and Joyce STEWART MILLER. He married Cindy KRAMER. They divorced.

Mr. MILLER grew up in rural Keosauqua and graduated from Harmony High School. He had worked at Dexter Company and Fairfield Aluminum Castings Co. in Fairfield. He also was an over-the-road truck driver until retiring for health reasons.

Mr. MILLER enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing stock cars and playing softball.

Survivors include his special friend, Mary Wadeng of Fairfield; one daughter, Natalie MILLER of Milton; two sons, Joshua MILLER and wife Syrea GAMBITO of Keosauqua and Jesse MILLER of Birmingham; his mother of rural Keosauqua; and one sister, Dawn WARNER of rural Keosauqua.
