Sarah E. THOMPSON born Nov. 27, 1837 in Ohio departed this life Dec. 16, 1912 at her home near Kellerton at the age of 75 yr 19 da. She moved with her parents at age 14 to Jeff Co Ia. On May 4, 1854 she was united in marriage to Isaac SIRLES. The resided in Wapello Co Ia. until 1882 when they moved to Ringgold Co where they have since resided. She was the mother of 8 children, 2 sons and 6 dau, 2 dau having preceded her to the great beyond. Early in life she was united with the Presby. Church. She leaves her aged husband who has been her constant companion for over 58 years, her children and hosts of other relatives & friends.
