Transcriber note: The headstone for Annie E BRYAN at Evergreen Cemetery (2nd.103) in Fairfield, Iowa had 1947 as the death year, while cemetery records and a subsequent cemetery transcriptions (on paper and online) put the date as being February 8, 1946. Because she died in Illinois, as it turns out, local genealogists' didn't have the means to reconcile the dates. Her Illinois death certificate was found by a Find A Grave researcher recently and it has since been used to determine the death date was Feb. 5, 1947 and the burial date was Feb. 8, 1947. This obituary was then located in the newspaper microfilm records at the Fairfield Public Library and is transcribed for this entry. //rkt
Additional note: Annie's parents and at least three siblings (Samuel A., John H. and Margaret "Maggie") are also buried at Evergreen Cemetery.
