McCARTY, Robert Lee -- Robert Lee McCARTY, 77, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at home.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robert Lee McCarty family and sent to 2150 236th Blvd., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. McCARTY was born May 25, 1933, in Lomax, Ill., the son of Nelson and Pearl CARTER McCARTY. He married Marcene FERREL July 1, 1977, in Jefferson City, Mo.

Mr. McCARTY owned McCarty's Doors and Openers.

He was a member of Fairfield Eagles Club No. 1927.

Survivors include his wife; four children, Diana VanDenBAARD and husband Tom of Oskaloosa, Tony McCARTY and wife Bobbie of Batavia, Renee REBLING and husband Bruce of Fairfield and Lee McCARTY and wife Brooke of Kansas City, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Tina SOLOMON and husband Bill of Arizona; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by father; his mother and stepfather, Eldridge "Mac" McCARTY; one sister, Louise; and one stepson, Mark CAMPBELL.
