C. Ernest WALKER.
Charles Ernest WALKER, expert demonstrator for the Speeder Machinery company of Cedar Rapids, and son of C. S. WALKER of the post-office force who was seriously injured in an auto accident at Pittsburg, Pa., Sunday evening, died this morning at 9:40 at the Pittsburg hospital, where he was taken after the accident. His skull was fractured and he received other injuries.
The body, accompanied by his wife who was with him, will be brought here for the funeral and burial and is expected to arrive here tomorrow afternoon over the Burlington at 4:28.
Mr. WALKER was born on a farm north of this city June 12, 1892, and he has resided here all his life. He is survived by his wife, who was formerly Miss Mabel PENCE, daughter of Samuel PENCE of Lockridge, and the following children: Pearl, Ila May, Ruth and Robert. He also leaves his parents and two sisters, Mrs. C. L. NEELY of Corydon and Margaret at home.
