CAMPBELL, Margaret M. 'Tillie' -- Margaret M. "Tillie" CAMPBELL, 85, formerly of Keosauqua, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Greenwood, Ind.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

CAMPBELL, Margaret M. 'Tillie' -- Margaret M. "Tillie" CAMPBELL, 85, of Greenwood, Ind., formerly of Keosauqua, died at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Regency Place in Greenwood.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating. Burial will be in Forbes Cemetery north of Keosauqua.

Open visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Family visitation will be form 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Forbes Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to 1212 Eagle Crest Drive, Greenwood, IN 46143.

Mrs. CAMPBELL was born Nov. 17, 1924, in Ashland, north of Eldon, the daughter of Kenneth and Zelma PARKE DOUD. She married George STEWART. He died in 1960. She married C. Robert CAMPBELL Jan. 15, 1965. He died July 24, 2002.

Mrs. CAMPBELL grew up on the DOUD family farm Fair Oaks near Ashland and in the Azen, Mo., area. She graduated from Farmington High School and completed training to become a registered nurse at St. Joseph School of Nursing in Keokuk. She worked at Van Buren County Hospital and Van Buren Good Samaritan Center. She and her second husband lived on the CAMPBELL family farm near Mount Zion. After his death, Mrs. CAMPBELL moved into Keosauqua and then to Indianola in 2005.

She belonged to the former Mount Zion Presbyterian Church and later attended Keosauqua Congregational Church. She was a member of Town and County Garden Club.

Mrs. CAMPBELL volunteered at American Red Cross.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie STARNES of Keosauqua and Jo Ann GUFREDA of Greenwood, Ind.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard DOUD of Wickenburg, Ariz.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Myrlee REIGHARD and Roberta TRAGER; and two brothers, Claude and Lewis DOUD.
