SHAW Rites Thursday

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. for Darrell C. SHAW, 61, of Mount Pleasant. A former resident of Fairfield, he died at 10:15 a.m. Monday at the American Nursing Center in Cedar Rapids.

The services will be at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Hickman officiating. Arrangements are in charge of the Raymond Funeral Home.

Darrell C. SHAW was born May 1, 1912, in Fairfield. He was the son of William S. and Maude GREEN SHAW. He was reared and educated in Fairfield and attended Parsons college.

He was married to Rose INMAN and had made his home in Mount Pleasant the past 12 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Diane STEARNS, Boise, Idaho; one grandchild; a sister, Mrs. John C. NELSON, Chicago; two brothers, Walter L. SHAW and Max L. SHAW, both of Evanston, Ill.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Harry.
