MRS. SARAH SHEETZ

Sarah SHEETZ, daughter of Godfrey and Philipine SHEETZ, was born in Bavaria, Germany, July 27, 1856. She came to this country with her parents at the age of 11 years. She was united in marriage to Godfrey SHEETZ, in May, 1883. To this union were born three children, Jake of Pleasant Plain, Otto of Keota and Clara of Packwood. She also leaves ten grandchildren.

She resided southeast of Keota until her husband's death on July 7, 1918 and since then has made her home with her children. She passed away at the home of her son Jake in Pleasant Plain, Dec. 7, 1932, after an extended illness of several years.

Funeral services were held from the Valley Lutheran church Friday, Dec. 9, at one p.m., where she had been a devoted member. She leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn her death.
