MRS. ADAH WALTERS GRAY

Adah WALTERS was born in Des Moines, August 24, 1888, the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed WALTERS. Whe was married to Harry R. GRAY, Sept. 2, 1908. To them was born one son, Robert of Fairfield, who with his wife survive their mother. She is also survived by a sister younger than she, Mrs. G. M. BLAINE of Des Moines.

She was an employee of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. for seventeen years.

She became a member of the Methodist church early in life and remained an ardent worker through all her life. She was required by her work to change fields often, but immediately began work in the church in her new field.

Her home has recently been in Stuart, Iowa, and there she worshipped in the closing months of her life. She was a member of Eastern Star, Hawkeye Chapter, Des Moines.

Her devotion to her son was unusual, and they were constantly together until his marriage last September. Her sister and her many friends also shared her devotion.

She was taken ill on July 1, 1936 and was taken to the hospital where every care and attention was given her, but death came July 13, 1936 at the age of 47 years, 10 months.
