MRS. SUSAN DODY

The death of Mrs. Susan DODY of Abingdon, June 3rd, marked the passing of one of the oldest residents of Jefferson county. She was aged at the time of her death 92 years, seven months and twenty-five days.

Mrs. DODY was the last member of her immediate family. For some time she had made her home with a nephew, W. W. KNOX. Her funeral services were held June 6th, conducted by W. N. Smith of Abingdon, and interment was in the Abingdon cemetery.
