DAVIDSON, Sarah 'Sadie' -- Sarah "Sadie" Agnes DAVIDSON, age 97, of Fairfield, died today, Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at Parkview Care Center.

A graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Monday at Fell Cemetery, with the Rev. Nate Nims officiating.

Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. DAVIDSON was born Aug. 27, 1913, in Belfast, Ireland, the daughter of Henry and Ellen GILMORE RICHMOND.

She entered the United States in 1923. She had been a nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Burlington.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mary BONNER of New Orleans, La., and Ruth BRIGGS of Libertyville; one son, Dale DARRAH of Marshalltown; one sister, Ellen POWERS of Burlington; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter and one son.
