SALTS, Alta Marie -- Alta Marie SALTS, 85, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 1992, at Parkview Care Center.

A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. J.D. Boatman officiating. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at Behner Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to First Baptist Church.

Mrs. SALTS was born Nov. 13, 1906, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Bert and Myrtle LINN BRYAN. She married Earl F. SALTS on Nov. 27, 1924, in Ottumwa. He died May 18, 1857. She had lived her entire life in the Fairfield community. A homemaker, she had worked at Salts Furrier and more recently at Martin Drug Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Victorine "Vicky" TOWNSEND of Fairfield; three grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
