HURLEY, Ruth Emma -- Ruth Emma HURLEY, 82, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice and sent to 904 W. Grimes Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. HURLEY was born March 19, 1928, in Winnebago, Minn., the daughter of George and Emma KOCH REICHERT. She married Patrick HURLEY Jan. 19, 1973, in Ottumwa.

Survivors include her husband and one brother, John REICHERT of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles "Bob" REICHERT.
