CLINKENBEARD Rites Saturday

Wilbur CLINKENBEARD, 61, former Fairfield resident, died suddenly Wednesday at St. Joseph hospital in Ottumwa. Most of his life was spent in Fairfield until he moved to Ottumwa a year and a half ago.

Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Alvin E. Nelson. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

CLINKENBEARD was born near Fairfield March 6, 1902, the son of Bernie (sic. Bernard "Bernie") and Pearl May EDWARDS CLINKENBEARD. He was employed at the Dexter Co. for many years, retiring in 1955.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Margaret ANDERSON, Knoxville; and Mrs. Cleo SPEAKE, Fairfield; and one brother, Verl CLINKENBEARD, Phoenix, Ariz. One brother preceded him in death.
