Mrs. CLINKENBEARD Dies Here Sunday

Mary Jane CLINKENBEARD, 80, passed away at 1 p.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. FACER, 201 West Jefferson. She was born at Dubuque, Ia., May 30, 1858.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Charles WALMER of Leavenworth, Kansas; Mrs. William ANGSTEAD of Fairfield, Miss Alice CLINKENBEARD of Fairfield and Mrs. FACER; by one son, J. S. CLINKENBEARD of Cincinnati, O., seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A son, William F. CLINKENBEARD, died a year ago. Her husband, David B. CLINKENBEARD, passed away in 1924. Mrs. CLINKENBEARD was a Fairfield resident since childhood.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hoskins funeral home in charge of the Rev. W. J. Bell assisted by the Rev. William Yingling. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. 3rd.157. Her maiden name can be found in two separate sources as being "HAYNES" or "HAINES". One or the other is evidently a phonetic variation, but it isn't clear which one is the accurate maiden name since the obituary did not provide the names of her parents.
