ORMAN, Norma G. -- Norma G. ORMAN, 74, of Macon, Mo., formerly of Keosauqua and rural Floris, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at Samaritan Memorial Hospital in Macon, Mo.

A service will bet at (sic) 11 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Leando Cemetery.

Open visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Visitation with the family will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Bethel Worship Center may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 504 Wren Court, Macon, MO 63552.

Mrs. ORMAN was born June 8, 1936, in Fairfield, the daughter of Lonnie J. and Gladys ADLER STONE. She married Bernard A. ORMAN Aug. 7, 1954, at her parents' home near Floris. He died July 10, 2001.

Mrs. ORMAN graduated from Troy High School and lived most of her life in Davis County. She moved to Keosauqua in 2001 and then to Macon, Mo., in 2005.

Mrs. ORMAN was a member of Bethel Worship Center in rural Douds.

Survivors include one son, Bernard ORMAN Jr. and wife Linda of Macon, Mo.; two grandchildren; and one sister, Betty STEELE of Douds.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John ORMAN; two brothers, Lonnie STONE Jr. and Edward STONE; and one sister, Jane HUDAK.
