GRIDLEY, Gerald E. -- Gerald E. GRIDLEY, 72, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kremer Funeral Home in Eldon, with the Rev. Jack Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Floris Cemetery.

Mr. GRIDLEY was born Feb. 4, 1938, in Brookville, the son of Howard W. and Eunice H. HARWOOD GRIDLEY. He married Beverly ANDERSON in February 1956 in Missouri.

Mr. GRIDLEY graduated from Fairfield High School. He retired from Norris Asphalt and Paving.

Survivors include four children, Randy of Cedar Rapids, Richard of Eldon, Rhonda ADAMS of Birmingham, Ala., and Rena CAMPBELL of Vinton; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jerry GRIDLEY of Blue Grass and Patrick GRIDLEY of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donnie GRIDLEY.
