Monday Dec. 17, 1934B. F. FOWLER DIES SUDDENLY
Services for Jefferson County Farmer on Wednesday At 1:30 p.m.B. F. FOWLER, past 72 years of age, died Sunday at his home north of Fairfield at 5:00 p.m., after an illness of one week.
The body was taken to the Hoskins Funeral Home in Fairfield where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. FOWLER is survived by one son, Roscoe, of Muscatine, with whom he made his home for some time, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Beatrice GORDON, of Vincennes, Ind., a brother, Sam FOWLER, with whom he had been living for the past year and a half, and a sister, Mrs. Esther HUFF, of Afton. His wife preceded him in death Sept. 23, 1923 (sic. his wife, Nancy COOPER FOWLER, died Sept. 23, 1933).

His wife was originally buried in 2nd.060 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, Iowa where her parents were buried. After Benjamin died and was buried in Old.P.195 she was later re-interred in that plot with him. They are in the west one-half portion of that lot in unmarked graves.
