BOLDT, Ralph O. -- After a long life filled with family, professional success, travel and golf, former Fairfield resident Ralph O. BOLDT passed away in Carlsbad, California at the age of 92. He is survived by his wife Ardella TURNER BOLDT, daughter Jan BOLDT and stepdaughters Cindi TURNER HOAGE, Karen TURNER SHLEMMER, Susan TURNER ZAYAS and Julie TURNER LONG, all former Fairfield residents, along with their families, including six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ralph owned Fairfield's Chevy-Oldsmobile dealership, and he and his late wife Jean were active in the community before moving to California.

Ralph was a Naval Air pilot during WWII and served for 30 years as a Trustee for the Bankruptcy Court of San Diego County. Many will miss his entrepreneurial spirit, his stories and the sparkle in his eye.
