November 6, 1978Mrs. YERION dies Sunday
Lessie L. YERION, 580 (sic. she was 80 years old, not 580 years old), of 301 1/2 W. Washington, died at 1:50 p.m. Nov. 5 at Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health the last six months.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of the Nazarene at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in charge of the Rev. Robert P. Kelley. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The body is at the Behner Funeral Home.
Born Jan. 16, 1898 at Birmingham, she was the daughter of Charles D. and Matilda WADE BONNETT. She married Richard LUKE on Aug. 15, 1917, who died. On May 4, 1930 she married Milton YERION who died on June 13, 1955.
Mrs. YERION lived in the Fairfield community the past three years. Previously, she spent most of her life in the Libertyville community. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hubert REICHMAN of Libertyville; two grand-children, five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Birdell LOWE of Sarasota, Fla.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son.
