MRS. JOHN BELIEL DIED TUESDAY EVENING

Mrs. Julia BELIEL, wife of John BELIEL, four miles southeast of town, passed away last night about 7:30 o'clock at the Jefferson county hospital.

Mrs. BELIEL was brought to the hospital yesterday afternoon, where she underwent an operation for gall stones, and from which she never rallied.

She is survived by her husband and two sons and two daughters, Laurence and Leonard and Dorothy and Blanche, who are all at home.

No arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral.

Note:
Her death date is recorded as being April 24, 1916. The Tuesday reference in the obituary could be slightly misleading, since the obituary was published on a Tuesday.

Julia was a daughter of Leo and Balbine/Belbena WODGENSKI. Her mother and brother (Leo, Jr.) are also buried in the same plot (SDiv.1-020) at Evergreen Cemetery as is Julia. A daughter, Dorothy Gertrude BELIEL WORLEY, is also buried in this same plot.

BELIEL FUNERAL TO BE HELD TOMORROW

The funeral of Mrs. George (sic - Mrs. John) BELIEL will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic church, and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
