Timothy L. BROWN, 44, of Bonaparte, died this morning, Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Timothy L. BROWN

Timothy L. BROWN, 44, of Bonaparte, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at home.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Larry Wagner officiating. Burial, with military rites by American Legion John Hyson Reneker Post No. 494 of Douds, will be in Leando Cemetery, Douds.

Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7-8:30 p.m. The casket will be closed.

Memorials to Heritage Baptist Church in Keosauqua or Leando Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 274, Bonaparte 52620.

Mr. BROWN was born July 15, 1965, in Keosauqua, the son of Franklin and Audrey FERREL BROWN.

Mr. BROWN lived in Douds during his childhood, but lived in Bonaparte most of his life. He graduated from Harmony High School and attended Indian Hills Community College. He had worked as a carpenter and roofer.

Mr. BROWN served in the United States Marine Corps from 1989-1993.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hunting for arrowheads.

Survivors include one son, Michael of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter, Kaylin BROWN of Birmingham; his mother of Bonaparte; two brothers, Gary BROWN of Luray, Mo., and James BROWN of Donnellson; and one sister, Debora GREENFIELD of Douds.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Dean BROWN.
