Lois Annamae Schoenfelder, 84, of Fairfield, formerly of Kennebec, SD., died Monday Jan 12, 2009, in her residence following a brief illness.
Mrs. Schoenfelder was born May 6, 1924, in Reliance, the daughter of Carl arthur and Lula Ina (Fletcher) Peterson. She married Urban Paul Schoenfelder on July 27, 1945 in Kennebec.
Surviving are one daughter, Betty Audiss and husband Mick of Fairfield; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Minnie Brech of Phillips, SD.; one brother Roland Peterson and wife Billie Mae of Reliance; and four sisters-in-law, Donna , Leola, Catherine Peterson, and Marie Houchin and husband John.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1974, an infant daughter, Anna Marie; and eight siblings including Carl, William "Verle", Lyle, Walter, Eunice, Joyce Clare, and Ronald.
