Loretta EDLER taken in death

Loretta EDLER, 66, resident of the Fairfield Hotel, died at 1:10 p.m. Sunday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. She had been in failing health a number of years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Griffis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Loretta EDLER was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of James and Bertha OSBORN SEE. Her marriage to Edward EDLER took place Sept. 6, 1931 (sic. could be 1937, the date isn't clear on the photocopy of the obituary). He died June 28, 1970.

Survivors include one brother and three sisters: Harry SEE, Melcher; Margaret MICKELS, Fairfield; Beulah ANDERSON, Des Moines; Sylvia FISHER, Rock Island, Ill.
