MRS. STOKES OF CROWLEY'S SHOWS DIES LAST NIGHT

Mrs. Floyd STOKES, member of the personnel of Crowley's shows which played at Fairfield, passed away last night at the Jefferson County Hospital.

She has been ill two or three days and had been in the hospital about 19 hours. Death was caused by pericarditis.

Mrs. STOKES is survived by her husband and a five years old son, both with the show. The body was taken to the Weston Behner Funeral Home pending arrangements for services.

Services For Mrs. STOKES Held Sunday

Funeral services for Mary BALDWIN STOKES, 31, employee of Crowley Shows, were held at the Weston Behner Funeral Home Sunday at 4 p.m. in charge of the Rev. J.W. Stine. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. STOKES was born at St. Cloud, Minn. on June 5, 1908. Although she had been among the personnel of many carnivals for a good many years her home was considered to be Fargo, N.D.

Note: Mary was buried in the public grounds section of Evergreen Cemetery; Row 8. Space 26. The subsequent life and whereabouts of her husband Floyd and her five-year-old son are not known. Any clarification would be appreciated.
